Due to a serious illness in the family, The Ornament Lady will not be making ornaments for the 2011 Christmas season.
Please revisit the site in the fall of 2012 for new designs. Your past business and loyalty is greatly appreciated, and look forward to having you as a return customer in 2012.
HISTORY
Owner and creator,
Debbie Barnes, began making salt dough ornaments to
give as gifts more than 30 years ago in the kitchen of her
home in Idaho. Throughout the next three decades, the hobby
became a business. The creation of this home-based business
allowed her to be involved in her children's activities as
they grew up and to help with the family's income. The creation
of the ornaments and the satisfaction of long-standing customers
continues to be a source of pride for Debbie.
In 2002 Debbie
made the decision to offer her unique handmade ornaments on
the web.
ABOUT THE
ORNAMENTS
The
ornaments are created using flour, salt, water, and coloring.
Bright, vivid colors make these ornaments an outstanding addition
to your Christmas collectibles. Each is individually hand
formed, baked and glazed with a crystal clear coating that
will not yellow over time. Directions for storing the ornaments
in a dry, moisture free location are included with each ornament.
When stored according to the directions, these ornaments will
last for years to come.
Each ornament can be personalized, creating a lasting memory
for the recipient. Ornaments are dated
and signed by the artist.
Special care is taken in the packaging used for shipping,
including double boxing to insure safe delivery to your home
or office.
